![]() ![]() Students who return to UIC after an absence of more than two years are responsible for meeting the requirements of the university and college as well as of the major or curriculum in effect at the time of the student’s reenrollment. If requirements are changed, continuing students in LAS and those whose attendance at UIC has been interrupted for no more than two years may complete the current graduation requirements or may continue to meet those requirements in effect at the time of initial registration in the college. To earn a College of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree from UIC, students need to complete university, college, and department degree requirements.Ĭhanges to graduation requirements and related policies are announced online. Additionally, LAS requires that first year students enroll in a first year seminar course in their first term that supports students' transition from high school to college.
